Final is ready

Your final is available to take whenever you are ready. Its 80 questions and you have two hours to complete it once you begin. The questions cover the chapters we looked at this semester, 1 through 11 with the exception of chapter 9. You will have until Midnight Wednesday to work on it.

Good luck, and have a good holiday season.

Kelly A. Dougherty Best Christmas Carol Ever! I don't like war, but I am thankful for the Veterans who take care of us and each other. Thank-you and lets make peace on earth, ok?

  3. Now that the final is over, there were two questions that I am looking for a little more detail on why they were wrong? Question 16 asks "If a military censor stops a combat story from being released, he is acting in the role of:" I said "C: regulator". In the text book it says:

"Like gatekeepers, Regulators can affect a communicator's messages substantially, but regulators are not media people. A military censor who stops a combat story is a regulator."
Page 45, middle of the page, and "regulators is in bold.

    Also...
Question 45 asks "What company did the recording industry first target in an attempt to stop file sharing of music?" I said "C: Napster.

It shows a point score of .01/ out of 1. Never saw that before, 10% of a point seems strange so I think its a glitch.

but I checked that one two just to make sure it wasn't Grokster and the book said...

"Napster was the first to hit the dust, in a federal 2001 court case. Then came the case against Grokster, another peer to peer service."
Page 427, bottom of page, "Grokster" is in bold.

Thanks for your time! So if it turns out I might be right than I just need 1.9 points added to my score thanks! Oh and I'm really sorry if someone sees this that still hasn't taken the test! eek! I'm pretty sure it ended today though :).

  4. I aggree with Sara~ The gatekeeper/regulator Q. threw me as well..Unless the military censor was in the media:) Also, another typo in Q.39, correct answer should have read ..early 1900's, not 1990. Peace Out!
