Kindle paper grades posted

Your Kindle paper grades are posted in the feedback section of the drop box. I will leave hard copies of your papers with my chicken scratches in Ed Services at the college for you to pick up if you're interested.

I will post review material for the next chapter this evening.

  1. Grade: B

Kelly, you did a god job describing ebooks and their advantages and disadvantages. The paper would have been stronger if you’d compared ebooks to dead-tree books. There are advantages to both, and there are reasons why they will likely coexist alongside ebooks for a long time to come. One reason is the emotional attachment some of us (such as yourself) seem to have for books.

I think you were working for something such as a nice circular ending with your references to water, but it didn’t quite work. You needed a water reference up high, in your opening paragraph. Then the Jefferson in the bathtub thing might have had a little more impact

~Dear Rob Breeding~Thank you for the input on my paper~I have to say that you are the first teacher ever to give me a B on an essay, paper, whateves.. Thanks. I am anticipating your 'chicken-scrawls' because, oddly enough, it matters.I would like to get an A in this class when I go to university~ (My degree is in communication..) Can you help?
The water reference relates to my last paragraph, when I contrasted the difference between spilling a drink on a book or an e-reader. I think a book would make it, but an electronic device, may short-out.. It would be good to discuss my simple paper.I mean, What do you want, APA, MLA. or news-wrighting, which I assumed this class would teach..Are you are sure your not pissed at the fact I swore at you? I'm sorry teach..

  3. I'm really confused here. My Kindle paper is nowhere to be found. I went to educational services and they said that you picked up the papers. Since I didn't receive a response as to if you even received the paper when I emailed it to you, I am totally in the dark as to what's going on exactly. A response would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
